Self-hosted AI Starter Kit

The team of n8n, a great open-source automation platform I’m using a lot, just published an AI Starter Kit to self-host a powerful AI tech-stack. An FOSS, docker compose template that quickly bootstraps a fully featured Local AI and Low Code development environment.

The starter kit includes the popular open-source solutions Ollama as local LLM engine, n8n as Automation-Tool, Postgres as database and Qdrant as vector storage.

Since I’m a big fan of Ollama and also like all the other used solutions in this starter kit I really wanted to share this with you.

The docker-compose.yml as well as some more information can be found in a dedicated repository on Github. Additionally they recorded a short video about the setup process.
